church organ

The Church Organ
Our pipe organ is one of the finer instruments in the area of the South Shore. The present organ was designed by Hill, Norman & Beard of London, England in 1963. Approximately 30% of the pipework is from the chuch's previous instrument, Casavant Opus 878 dating from 1921. Recent renovations by Les Orgues Baumgarten include a complete cleaning and re-voicing, regulation of wind pressures, and the installation of a new trumpet stop on the Great, as well as several other small improvements and repairs. See below for a description of the stops.
For more information about the organ or music please e-mail our music director.
